Dr. Alex Abbott

Dr. Alex Abbott was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He continued on to dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.

After dental school, Dr. Abbott completed a general practice residency at UAMS where he expanded his knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry, and placed his focus on excellence in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. Dr. Abbott enjoyed his time at UAMS so much that he has transitioned to the role of adjunct faculty where he volunteers his time helping current residents excel during their time at the GPR.

When he is outside of the office, Dr. Abbott enjoys spending time with his dog, Winston. They especially enjoy walking and getting ice cream together. Dr. Abbott is excited to meet and take care of the patients at Perryville Family Dental using the experience that he gained in dental school and in residency.
